Linebreaker is a supplemental class for Beacon TTRPG.

“There is a primal terror in aether detonations. A blinding flash followed by the crackle of impure catalysts. The very air shimmers with heat and magic. Drape this fear as a cloak around your shoulders.” ~Captain Inyanafretziel

Where other Beacons might solve their problems with cunning, wisdom or a fine sword, the Linebreaker prefers a rather direct approach. They excel in breaking formations and punishing an isolated foe with an array of magitech weapons and tools.

Mechanically, the Linebreaker seeks to forcefully slam enemies into objects (or each other) to reload its weapons. This benefits an extremely aggressive risk-reward playstyle, but can also do wonders intercepting foes who are trying to pick on your squishier friends. Creative synergy is heavily encouraged with other Magitech weapons, and Linebreaker provides a collection of support tools that will catch the interest of those with a focus on brawling or applying forced movement.

Get out there! Wreak some havoc! Try not to singe your friends along the way! Most importantly: make our Captain proud!

I've only had time to skim it so far, but I like this class a lot: it adds a kind of mobility toolkit that I didn't know I needed, which is absent from the base game. I enjoy that it obviously wants to Do Something and gives a toolkit based around doing That Thing (it wants to move in close and wants to make enemies move, etc) but not in a way that makes this the only thing you'll ever want to do, and not in a way that immediately sings "this is overpowered".

Next Beacon I run, this'll probably be included in the classes-available list!
